Ah, yes. Phoenix totally reminded me of something to blog about! All the sweet parties coming up. Basically, there's mine this weekend which I'm stoked on. Then, later on this year, is Phoenix's which I am also hella stoked on. They're going to be amazing. ...we need to have more parties.

Also, the other day in History, this fellow from New Zealand named Walter sits at the table beside mine. He just happened to be discussing an amusing situation that didn't happen to him, but would be funny if it did. Basically it goes...

Walter (to a dwarf): So, the femur's the biggest bone in your body?
Dwarf: Yes.
Walter: Want a bigger one in you?

I couldn't help but burst out laughing after trying hard to contain myself. 'Twas wonderful. Oh, and today Scott Put ended up spraying water out of his mouth because he was trying so hard not to laugh. I can't remember what it was about though. Either way, it had the entire left side of the room pissing themselves with laughter. I was glad to be a part of it.

I have a relatively unexciting life. I honestly can't think of anything interesting to blog. Hmm... I do not know.

I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!

That is all.

171.

Hahaha, my friend Alora and I are terrible people. Our friend Calen got this girlfriend Alora and I don't like (despite the fact that I've never actually met her...). Anyway, our dislike was fueled into creativity!

ALORA'S

SARIUS'

Yes, I realize how petty this is. I also realize that we're terrible people. I bask in the glory of both concepts.

Guess what's in four days! My birthday! Whooo! Guess what's this Saturday! My party! Whoo! Guess who's excited! Me! Whooo!

In all seriousness, as of this Thursday I will be eighteen. I will then be old enough to buy/star in/make pornos, vote, get tattoos, get nipple/surface piercings. I will do all of these except star-in a porno because I'm pretty sure that no one wants to see that. Neither do I. Either way, I'M SO EXCITED!

Sarius: Porn, voting, and nipple piercings! Whoo!
Calen: Lolcats. I need to see that last one.
Sarius: Haha, I don't think your old lady would appreciate it.
Calen: Who cares.. She doesn't have to see it.

Haha, what a sly fox. When I said "old lady" I was referring to his girlfriend by the way, not his mother or grandmother.

Whoo, that fractal is finally rendered. Due to people in my house being pricks, I've had to restart that render seven times. It was a little bit rediculous. Anyway, it is finally done and that makes me happy.

I am going to be 18 in nine days. I'm excited. I'm going to buy the gnarliest porno possible. Just because I can. I hope that certain people can actually make it to The Riv' for my birthday...

Yeah, so I was talking to a friend of mine today on msn and she told me that she was shaving my other friend's hair into a mohawk. I said it would be lame because that friend isn't punk or deathrock or anything like that. Personally, I think it looks stupid for someone that isn't part of a mohawk-sporting subculture to have one. Anyway, the friend I was talking to ended up bitching at me...

So, I listened to the new Franz Ferdinand album. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't "them." In my opinion of course. They collaborated with LCD Soundsytem on a lot of their songs and that was very obvious and I think the electronica aspect to many of their new songs overpowered the alt/garage rock style of their previous music. There were a few really good songs though, but many of the ones near the end of the album sounded incredibly similar to others or were simply remixes with different names. Oh, Franz Ferdinand, please tell me that this album and collaboration was just a momentary lapse in good judgement...

Reading over this, I figured I should mention that the music was in no way "bad." In fact, it was quite good for what it was. I just expected something different.

Now for something completely different: my family is absurd. For the past few days I've been trying to render this bloody fractal, but for some reason someone keeps decided to log me off. Each time this happens I have to begin a 40+ hour render all over again. It has happened at least six times already. Honestly, it is driving me insane.

Once again, something completely different: my Comparative Civilizations and History teacher is amazing. His name is Mr. Ringstead and he's from Liverpool and he has an accent and he's brilliant. I bask in his glory.

Yes, so, I've finally gotten around to "aquiring" the new Franz Ferdinand album. It's called "Tonight." I haven't listened to it yet. Honestly, I'm anxious to see how it is...

Where is McIsaac when you neeeeed him? Eh? Where?

164.

I am in the process of rendering a new fractal. This one should only take about 40 hours to render instead of that last one. I still can't believe it took over 140 hours... Anyway, I'm excited to see how this one turns out...

163.

I had a job interview today. Yes, I know, it's incredible. Who'd have thought. Anyway, I think it went pretty well. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose...

Oh, and I'm not sure if this has been previously mentioned, but I have a fish. He's very pretty. His name is Varg. I love him. He is still alive.

For a while there a friend of mine was living with me because she got kicked out of her place. After about a week or two, she ended up moving in with her boyfriend. Everything was all fine and dandy for about five months. A few days ago her boyfriend's parents kicked her out for something she didn't even do. It's pretty rediculous. Anyhow, today she's coming to stay with me again. This should be exciting. Also, she's planning on going back to school. Hopefully she'll stick with it this time. Anywho, that is all, for now.

Oh, and Opeth is still amazing.

Oh, and I still want to marry Beowulf. ...or have I even mentioned that yet? Either way, he's a complete beast and I want to marry him. He's gorgeous and intense and killed nine seamonsters, underwater, during a storm, after swimming for five days wearing full armour and chainmail while carrying a sword. Yes, he's that amazing.

161.

I want to marry this character. Yes, I said character. I don't just adore him because of his looks. It's his entire backstory, demeanor, etc.

160.

Whoo, I'm so glad this week is over. It has been pretty hectic so far. Even though it's only the first week, I've gotten quite a lot of homework. I'm almost nervous about later on in the year... It should be fine though. I've just got to stop procrastinating and manage my time better. Haha, like that will happen.

Anyway, I'm amazed that I'm actually "getting" my history right now. In the past it has certainly not been my forté in any way, but it's starting to click. I just hope it continues to do so.

Pretty soon in Comp Civ we get to choose an ancient civilization to do a project on. I'm hella stoked. I'm most likely going to choose the Aztecs. I'm so excited.

The apocalypse is coming. I actually got a job interview. I'm truly amazed. I just hope I don't blow it or something.

158.

Last night my fractal finished rendering. I'm so happy. It had been rendering for over 14o hours. 'Twas insane. I think it was worth it though.

[Ysatnaf]

Well, today was my second day of my new classes. I'm still totally stoked on them. It seems like each class is related to the rest of them. It's odd and can get confusing trying to remember which class you heard something in.

In Lit right we're supposed to read a "girl" novel and a "boy" novel. Ms. Lang calls them that because they're stereotypically female or male. For the female one we're supposed to choose something by either Jane Austen, Emily Brontë, or Mary Shelley. According to my teacher, Mary Shelley's really weird, so naturally I decided to read Frankenstein for my novel. I'll probably end up reading something by Jane Austen anyway though.

For the "boy" novel we're supposed to choose something by Thomas Hardy or Charles Dickens. That one's a bit of a toss up though. I'll just have to wait and see what I feel like reading when the time comes.

157.

I had my first day of new classes today.

Psych 12
Lit 12
Comp Civ 12
History 12

They are all amazing and I'm so excited.

156.

I have begun creating an army of emoticons! They are all very cute and very grey. I'm very excited.

155.

Ballin' Night of Poker. Basically I'm probably going to rock this for my birthday. We'll see how things go though.

154.

So, earlier today I was chillin' with my mom ('cause I'm gangsta like that) and we were talking about this "Moving On Package" all the grads have to do. Basically we're supposed to plan out our lives before we grad. We had to hand it in by last Friday or else we wouldn't be able to graduate or some shit. Either way, we were talking about it and the dialogue went a little something like this:

MICHELLE
"Who in their right minds expects someone to have their entire life planned out before they leave highschool?"

SARIUS
"The government apparently."

MICHELLE
"The government sucks balls."

It totally caught me off guard. It was truly amazing.

153.

Whoo, I'm so stoked! Only about 22 more hours and that motherfucking fractal will be done! Yes!
You know what would really fucking suck? If my computer randomly crashed or the power went out or something. I would be so mad. I'd have to smash something. It has currently been rendering for over 120 hours. I'd lose everything I have rendered as well as the fractal itself. I'd never create an identical one ever again. EVER!! I HOPE IT WORKS!!!!
